Centurion Europe is totally committed to Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER)

Our CSER policy embodies the companies value of ethics and responsibility, which encourages promoting the highest standards of practice as a company, in our people and in our external partnerships.
 

The Company strives to be a socially and environmentally responsible institution, ensuring that its buildings are constructed and maintained to high environmental standards and that renewable energy is used wherever it is economically feasible to do so.
 

We are committed to ensuring Centurion Europe is seen by all our people as ‘a great place to work’ by providing a safe, open, fair, challenging and engaging workplace. Through our staff steering group ‘Centurion in the Community’ we will continually support our communities and charities by through planned CSER activities.

Where we are now

Packaging
We were one of the first companies to introduce a one-piece recyclable bag

 

Recycling
We recycle Cardboard, Plastic, metals, and Chemicals ensuring that nothing goes to Landfill.

 

Lighting
We introduced light sensors in the warehouse 15 years ago to reduce our Electricity Usage

 

Sign Waste
We only work with registered waste partners where 100% of any signage waste material collected from us is reused or recycled. We take our environmental responsibility very seriously and it is important that 0% of our recyclable waste reaches landfill.

 

Vehicles
We have Multiple Car Charging Points on site and many of our company vehicles are hybrids.

What we are working on

Skin Pack Range

Working on moving our Skin Pack Range into single piece recyclable bags.
 

Paperless Office

Changing our office systems to work towards the paperless office to reduce our use of paper and toners and electricity.
 

Reducing Plastic Packaging

Working with our packaging suppliers to reduce the amount of plastic we use.
 

Renewable Energy

Looking at solar technology to power our warehouse/factory.
 

Fully Recyclable

At present our mailing out packaging is only around 80% recyclable and we are working to make it all fully recyclable.
 

Sustainable Signage Materials

We are looking at new materials for our signage production that are kinder on the environment.
 

LED Lighting

Changing all our lighting to LED technology to further reduce our electricity consumption.
